Hello Art Fans! A NEW video just arrived on Harptooniacs. Learn how to draw a Robot Warrior and another video on how to color you Robot Warrior in the art app Procreate on the iPad. Don't have the Procreate app? That's OK, all art apps are basically the same and you can still follow along and color the robot with me.

Oh, you can also download the digital file in the resource tab to draw or color along with me.

Happy Drawing!

Harptooniacs has so many amazing features that I created a video to show how to get the most out of your subscription. Here is what you will learn when watching the video:

  1. Filters - use the filters to find specific drawing and art videos

  2. Digital Downloads - how to download the digital files to work on the art app of your choice

  3. Picture in Picture - watch videos on your tablet while working in a different app

PLUS- a NEW feature not in the video is the Harptooniacs Art Community! Here you can upload your artwork, ask questions, and share ideas.

Happy Drawing,

Steve

Hello Artists and Monster Fans, I have a lesson where I show how to create a basic 'Kaiju' monster and then transform this beast into an amazing monster by reworking my ideas over again. PLUS- you can download my helicopter, tank, and fighter jet brushed to Procreate to add a battle scene for your monster.

Digital files are available with this lesson and PDF worksheets to print off to see my art close up and personal.

Hey, I want to see your art!!!! So post your drawings here on the Harptooniacs Community Page.

Happy Drawing,

Showing Expression!

It is important to show what your cartoon character is thinking, feeling, and the type of personality they have. Is this an evil character or a shy character. What is the mood of the character or what are they thinking at that very moment of the story. The eyes are the best way to show a characters emotion.

Part 3 of the series Cartoon 101 comes out on Monday June 6th here on Harptooniacs. You will have a chance to not only watch the courses but also download the PDF or digital worksheets and work with Steve Harpster creating great cartoon expressions.

Happy Drawing,

Steve Harpster

Don't forget to post your work here on the Harptooniacs Community Tab!
